As we are in the Easter Season, perhaps it is a good time to consider helping those that are less fortunate than ourselves.  Often times we might think, “I should give something to that cause”, but then we may think that the amount we might give will not make a difference.   B&G has a way to help  your donation go further.       Please consider contributing to or increasing your contribution to the B&G Charity Fund.  You can contribute any amount you choose and the contribution will be on a tax free basis using the payroll deduction plan.  All you have to do is sign a form that your RGM has with the amount you choose. From $2.00 a check on up can be deducted from your pay and go into the Charity Fund.   Since you will not be paying any taxes on the donation, the government is actually helping with your contribution.      We have a complete list of Charities listed on our web site, and if you have a charity you want to contribute to that is not on the site, just let us know and we will add it.  We can contribute to any Church or School or to any charity that is registered with the IRS.      Please help this good cause, together we can make a difference and remember no donation is too small, and all will be appreciated.  B&G matches all contributions made by our employees.      If ever you want to contribute on a special occasion you can always send a check to the B&G Charity Fund.      Please help us to help those less fortunate than ourselves.  Last year our fund collected $7982.00 and matched this amount for a total of $15,964.00. The scholarship fund collected $14,694.71 and with B & G’s matching funds, it totaled $29,389.42.  With almost 2,000 employees, I really think we can do more.  Hopefully with your continued help we can increase our contributions this year.   Thank you,  Greg Hamer Sr.
