DRAIN CLEANING       Do your stores have this posted? Are we following the recommendations?      With fruit fly season and Ecolab constantly noting we have dirty drains, I thought it may be helpful.. Tommy Gegenheimer
The old rhyme goes, April showers bring May flowers…after the winter we just had I sure hope the weather gets back to normal and we get what we have grown accustomed to seeing.  One thing that we are unaccustomed to seeing is BREAKFAST being served in our Taco Bells.  With the media being flooded with the news, I am confident we will see our BREAKFAST day part get busier as it registers with more of our customers that the BELL has a good BREAKFAST.  Please spread the word about our BREAKFAST, and if you are on the BREAKFAST TEAM please do everything in your power to serve our customers in a friendly, polite, fast and accurate matter. Speaking of fast and accurate, we are getting an ever increasing amount of complaints about inaccurate orders and slow service.   Sometimes I think that some of us have forgotten that we are fast food.  Everything we do has to have a focus on speed.  Every manager and every team member should be aware of the timer on every order.  THE GOAL IS TO KEEP OUR TIMES…BOTH LOBBY AND DRIVE THRU BELOW 3 MINUTES AND A FEW SECONDS.  We can only reach that goal if we work together and pay attention to the time clocks.  A complication to our business is that ACCURACY is just as important as SPEED.  One is no good without the other.  We need both to give our customers a good experience.  We can be fast and friendly, but hand the customer something they did not order and we have ruined their experience.  So please remember we have to be accurate…we have to check each order for accuracy…and we have to do it while maintaining speed. I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome our new restaurant # 29857 that replaced old # 2876 in Lake Charles and congratulate RGM Joseph Guillory and their team on their beautiful new restaurant.  Greg Hamer
